Mons Orchestra to support in Brussels
According to The Cirque Royal's website belgian outfit Mons Orchestra will appear on one bill with Motorpsycho for the concert in Brussels on May 7 -- most likely as support. Despite some (maybe not so creative) googling I wasn't able to find out what kind of music they are about. Since Motorpsycho very seldomely agree to perform with other bands or support acts this should be interesting either way.

i haven't found much either; it appears to be a 13 memeber orchestra. they've provided string arrangements for some belgian artists. from what i gather, they seem fairly straightforward. not as challenging as jaga jazzist.
i wouldn't see that work on stage with mp. but even less as a support act so it'll be very interesting to see what the idea for the evening is.
i would love to see mp playing with a violin player (as opposed to a full orchestra), though.

great - thanks for the info. a violin player would certainly add a new dimension to MP'sound - of course tunes like "the nerve tattoo" come to mind & it could provide a real dissonant edge.
wo knows what they will be up to anyway, lol :)
according to a site it is a festival, so no support acts it seams.
